AFS Silk 650 - Dreams do come true

Today was one of those moments when you want to bang your head against a wall for not doing something sooner. Last August, I felt the magic of the Silk 850 and couldn't stop talking about it. So what did I do? I went out and bought the Enduro 900 and 700 to complement it. Now don't get me wrong - those are epic wings and absolutely have a place in my quiver but holy cow - I SHOULD HAVE BOUGHT THE 650 EARLIER!

For some reason I had this idea in my head that a 650-sized wing was strictly for towing into big waves and would be useless at my home break. I could not have been more wrong. I honestly think the 650 might become my daily driver on days I don't need to pump much.

Moral of the story - don't put ideas in your head until you try something. Go try some small wings. Go test some new gear.
